Our aim is to rescue second-hand books and find them new loving homes, whilst raising money and awareness for local animal rescues.

Each month we choose a different local rescue to help. 20% of all our sales is donated to these rescues.

Featured Pet

Barney is a nice-natured, friendly, likes-a-cuddle boy who would love to go to a forever home, possibly with a female doggy playmate to have fun with. He is a very energetic, 25 kg dog.

Barney has been good with other dogs, but will need a slow introduction to new dogs due to an unfortunate dog park incident. He would make a wonderful family dog with kids and has so much love to give.

Rescue of the Month

This month 20% of all our sales will be donated to Best Friends Animal Rescue.

So far Best Friends Animal Rescue have re-homed over 900 dogs, mostly the older dogs that are the most difficult to find a new forever home. As many of their dogs come with specific dietary requirements or allergies, all meals are prepared on premises using only fresh meat and vegetables. Their new building, Old Friends Senior and Special Needs Dog Sanctuary, is the culmination of a dream to set up a facility for rescue and rehabilitation of elderly and ailing dogs in Perth, WA.
